Yo..!

College football is back..! I haven't done much playing, but so far it looks great and plays awesome...But imagine my heartbreak when it seems my two favorite formations, the Maryland I and the Wing T are GONE from the play book selection screen...

:(

As a result, I'm just going to have to learn offense all over again, pick some good plays and go from there...The other formations are there though, so I may go with them...

At any rate, here's an updated Created Player Guide...In case you missed it the first time, all it is are the highest ratings possible for each player at each position...So, if the best Tight End has an 88 speed, if you create a Tight End 88 is as high as it needs to go...Once you see the list, which is in the Excel spreadsheet format, you'll know what I mean...

Just thought I'd post myself a little motivation for my birthday...I'm sure the rest of the day will go just like yesterday and the day before that... :) Thanks in advance to any would be well wishers, friends, and family, please, get that collection plate around the other side..!

I can't remember the last time I had a really great birthday, and I'm not complaining, just saying, I've never done much...When I was a kid, my mom used to buy us these little cakes, and me and my brother would be so happy...Now, times have passed, and now the birthday is a bit of an afterthought...

You are bummed by all the people you don't hear from, but then again, you can't be, cause you've undoubtedly forgotten a shitload of birthdays in your day...Shit man, to be honest, I can't even ever really remembering wanting to kick it just cause it was my birthday anyway...

Done too much, or maybe haven't done enough...Who knows...All I got to say is 30 better be the new 20 for real, or I'm fucking screwed...

On my way to win the Heisman..!

That's a screencap from one of our family's conference dynasties...I was the best player, and therefore took the worst team in the SEC, the MSU Bulldogs...I had to blow everyone out to even get ranked, and I beat everyone down EXCEPT the eventual winner, my boy Hunt who had Arkansas...Because State and Arkansas are both SEC West, even though I had the better record, my team couldn't go to the SEC championship because of the loss...Hunt went on to win the whole thing...

It was cool though, we actually went to the SEC championship that year in Atlanta, and played the game there as well...After Hunt won, we went to the game, and he got to pose with the trophy...I'm still salty behind that shit..! Even though I eventually won the Heisman, and finished with the best overall record, it sucked with the 1 loss...

Me and my family go hard at NCAA Football, we always have since the franchise first started on PS1...Being that there were enough of us around that we could all get a team from a conference and compete against one another, it made it great...Ahh, good times...!

The absolute best part of the game though, is creating yourself on the game...We had to develop rules, however, and this is where this list comes in handy...The first rule is you had to use your actual height and weight as close as possible...No 6'6, 240 lb QB w/97 speed if you are 5'8"...The second rule is to follow the CP chart...

It is a guide of each position, and the highest rating available on the game for each player...The object is to prevent all 99 players in the game...Either way, the player will be pretty amazing, but at least a little more grounded...For instance, if the highest awareness rating for any real QB in the game was 92, if you created a QB, his numbers could go no further than that and so forth...

If you think you would be interested, have a look...You will need Microsoft Excel or a similar program to view it, if you need help or an older version, feel free to email me...With football season over and done with, this should spell you until the '08 version comes out...<

The AYHJA Playbook

I also used a modified Playbook, a pretty diverse offense that utilizes the option and a sexy pass attack...The 2007 version of the game allows for more plays, but this is my base offense:

Ace-Big
Ace-Bunch
Ace-Empty
I Form-Y Trips
Maryland I
Power T-Normal
Shotgun-Ace
Shotgun-Bunch
Wishbone-Tight

I usually add formations that don't have position changes when you audible from the line, which is why I like the Power T formation...When ran properly, you will be pretty hard to stop...I'm used to playing with shit teams, and won with this offense, so when I have good teams, its lambs to the slaughter...

Superman Returns

As you may have already guessed, I did make it to the premier of Superman Returns on Wednesday, June, 28th...It was the birthday of someone I care about a great deal, as well as the day the only true father figure I've ever known died of a heart attack...So, the day was a little bittersweet...

But oh man...That movie was AWESOME...If you haven't seen it, I'd suggest going to check it out right now...It was amazing, a tribute to the Superman of old, while establishing something new at the same time...Go see it..!

Also, the site is now on a new sever, here's to good times ahead..!

Truly, I don't think there's much to tell, but since you're here, you may as well read it..!
